As a Canadian Therapist currently living in Panama and working virtually with clients around the world, I offer effective trauma treatment services in English (including EMDR) to expatriates, health professionals, humanitarian aid workers, digital nomads, and those struggling to navigate stressful life transitions. I work with a highly diverse client base and a breadth of mental health issues related to trauma, adjustment, burnout, acute anxiety, sexual violence and interpersonal issues, as well as those working with vulnerable populations or in high-stress, high-threat settings.

Having experience working for international Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and living as an expatriate in East Africa and Central America, I know first-hand what it is like to live far from home. As a mother, therapist and expat, I understand the psychological and emotional challenges that come with adjusting to new environments and the strain this can have on individuals, relationships and family dynamics. I use evidence-based treatment modalities to tailer a specific treatment plan to target individual client goals and needs, to manage stress, build resilience, and process trauma . My areas of specialization include: trauma including PTSD, C-PTSD, and vicarious trauma; anxiety, phobias and panic disorders; burnout management and prevention; stress management; depression; and grief and loss.
